About Me

Hi, I am Kim Ellis.

I am a current Secondary school teacher of almost 10 years, and now photographer. My son, Arthur, is approximately 4 years old, and my daughter, Emily, is approximately 2years old. I teach part time and run my photography business part time from home.

My journey to motherhood has been the biggest inspiration for me to begin my andventure into professional photography. Photography has always been a passion of mine, however being so busy in my teaching profession, I had never quite jumped in, until now.

Since having Arthur & Emily, I've discovered the truest form of joy that life could ever bring me, and that is making and sharing memories with my family. It brings me such excitement to capture beautiful moments of fun, love and family for both myself and others.

As both a teacher and a mother, I have the right temperament and nature to communicate with children of all ages. I am organised, calm, nurturing, creative, diligent and a perfectionist. All of this couples so greatly with my love for newborn and family photography.

My mission is to collaborate with you on the look you want for your photos, involve you in the creative and editing process to ensure your end result is exactly what you hoped for, and provide a fun and positive experience!
